Donation Policy

Donation Policy for STREET CHILD ADVANCEMENT FOUNDATION (SCAF)

1. Introduction


STREET CHILD ADVANCEMENT FOUNDATION (SCAF) is a registered non-profit organization committed to [brief mission, e.g., alleviating poverty, promoting education, healthcare, etc.].   • CAMA 2020: For governance and transparency.
  • NDPA 2023: For protection of donor personal data.
  • SCUML Regulations: For anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT).
  • Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Guidelines: For tax exemption and receipting.

 

 

5. Donor Information and Privacy


We collect donor information only for processing donations, issuing receipts, and communication. All personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. Donors have the right to access, correct, or delete their data.

 


6. Use of Donations


Donations are used strictly for the charitable purposes stated at the time of solicitation. Unless otherwise designated, donations are considered unrestricted and used where most needed.

 


7. Donation Refunds


Refunds may be granted in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Donation made in error.
  • Unauthorized use of payment method.
  • Failure to use funds for designated purpose.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of donation.

 


8. Acknowledgement and Receipts


We provide official receipts for all donations, which can be used for tax purposes where applicable. Receipts are issued within 14 days of donation confirmation.

 


9. Transparency and Reporting


We are committed to transparency and publish annual reports detailing income and expenditure. Donors may request information on how their contributions were used.

 


10. Prohibited Donations


We reserve the right to decline donations that:

  • Are from illegal or unethical sources.
  • Could harm our reputation or mission.
  • Come with conditions contrary to our values.
